TALL Tatami Platform Bed - Dark Walnut

My wife and I grappled with whether we would buy this bed for weeks, and as far as I'm concerned there was no reason to delay. The bed is extremely high quality material, easy to assemble, and looks great. The price tag may seem a bit high, but there's no better thing to spend your money on, after all, one third of your life is spent in bed! :)

My expectations were high due to all the fine details provided by the photos in the advertisement. And I was not disappointed at all. My new full size bed arrived within a few days by Federal Express in three very substantial cartons. The bed is solid and the parts fit together with precision. The walnut finish on finished pieces is excellent too. One suggestion to future buyers is to assemble your bed as closely to its final resting place in the room, especially on carpeted surfaces. Also, the minimal assembly instructions were in a small clear plastic envelope securely stapled on the inside of one frame piece (it would have been great if a copy of the assembly details was clearly marked and included either with the shipping papers or marked on the carton that it was in. A copy online would have helped too). Anyway thank you for providing such a beautiful bed at a reasonable price, and for your shipping and customer service assistance too.

Received the Tall Tatami Platform Bed-King, approximately six days after order placed, by FedEx. Packaging was excellent. The bed is beatiful, and I was able to put it together in about 1 hour, by miself (I'm 67 years old). It fit together like a magical wood puzzle, is SOLID, and looks beautiful! Unfortunately despite the tank-like packaging the back rail had somehow been damaged in transit (a small crunch in the wood). Called Tatami Room, and their response was immediate.They took care of it and I'm totally satisfied. I rate both their products and their customer service as Outstanding. I do not hesitate to recommend their products, and will probably be ordering additional items from them.

Bed only slightly darker than expected, pieces heavy and Tatami mats are supper heavy, as a single woman I needed help having carried upstairs. Make sure you PAY ADDITIONAL to have what they call in house which means driver takes to your door or porch only otherwise they hand it to you off the truck. Slats somewhat awkward to install as one side is made separate from the other and each slat is attached by strapping, Bed well made and really easy to put together. Bed fits together like puzzle pieces, 4 screws only regarding center support. I have bought furniture online before and this is a quality piece of solid furniture. Tatami mats smell like the ocean, love them. Great Customer service as well

Frame feels absolutely solid. No scuffs or marks on any of the wood. Was packaged very well. Looks great! Does not feel cheap and easy to put together. Would buy again!

The bed came in 4 boxes. The packing to protect the wood is superb. Could not believe how easy it was to assemble this bed.....world-class engineering and design. Beautiful and simple lines. I would strongly recommend this bed.
