TALL Tatami Platform Bed - Honey Oak

Really well crafted piece of furniture. Pretty easy to put ttogether. Only thing I can say is the instructions are really small, the corresponding letters to parts are almost impossible to read. Also, the box said lins oriental furniture, didn't realize it was third party? But doesn't really matter, its really nice super comfy and getting the tall is totally worth it. The tall has some nice storage room underneath. Highly recommend

This product is clearly made the prediction of a loving hand. I'm very impressed. They even treated the support slats with the same color which I didn't expect. This will be an heirloom peice of furniture for sure. You will not be disappointed with the craftmanship.

The joinery is amazing. I was able to put it all together myself in about 30-40 mins (including unboxing all of the components). The pieces are HEAVY, but ball into place like a dream. No squeaky metal fasteners. A hex key was needed for a couple of bolts on the center support beam. I recommend a headboard as the frame leaves a substantial gap between your mattress and the wall. We will be picking one up if they go on sale.

Love our king size bed. Minimalist design is exactly what we were looking for. Easy assembly with pieces going together exactly as designed. Very limited tools and knowledge needed to put bed together. Looking for particle board? Not gonna find any in these beds. Sturdy, looks nice, and price point somewhere between the cheap stuff and the overbuilt, overpriced stuff. Love it.

After traveling around Japan and Taiwan for an extended amount of time, we had slept on tatami mats and never felt better. We were excited to finally ditch our western style bed, and Tatami Room did not disappoint! This platform bed is sturdy and easy to put together, and looks great in our room. Just high enough to get a few storage boxes under. We've had it almost 4 months now and we've never slept better.

Could not be happier with my purchase! The bed is super easy to assemble and the wood is solid and feels of high quality. I would recommend it over any other platform bed out there.

My wife and I ordered a tatami bed frame so we could get rid of our noisy box spring foundation. We are extremely happy with our purchase and love the sturdy and quiet build of our tatami bed frame.

The color is a bit lighter then shown in the current pictures. If you look at other honey oak color items in the lineup, it will be more accurate representation of the true color. Super solid bed. Doesn’t creak or shift so it’s good for all sorts of activities. Only downside FOR ME it’s that it is very heavy (I move at least every year). Way heavier than I expected. This is also why it’s solid and will last a lifetime. I 100% reccomend. I don’t use the mats so my foam mattress sits directly on the wood slats. The tight fit allows me to quickly tuck in the top sheet (between the mattress and frame) without lifting up the mattress. This is a game changer.

We were a bit skeptical before ordering but after seeing the tall Tatami bed with Tatami mats - all our worries went away. The wood is solid (not manufactured ones you get in IKEA etc), assembly is a breeze (not a lot of screws) & bed slats were also solid (most of the cases this is manufactured) too. Delivery was perfectly managed and was quick to Illinois. Hoping this would be our last bed purchase. I would recommend this bed and as well as the tatami mats. Japaneses tatami mats manufactured by this company are of great quality & solid to sleep on. Tatami mats along with this bed & Shikibutons(cotton mattresses) helps retain your posture and gets rid of back pain. Very Happy with the product!
