The Tall Wakayama platform bed frame includes interlocking Japanese joinery assembly while also allowing for mattress to frame correspondence. A space saver for small bedrooms, the Tall Wakayama platform bed frame is built from solid hardwood (Parwood, also know as the rubber tree wood). The bed frame consists of pyramid-shaped inset legs, two center support legs, and center support with wooden slats less than two inches apart with a weight capacity of 1600 lbs. This Japanese architectural influenced bed frame is versatile as the headboard can adjust to accommodate a 10 or 13 inch mattress. *Headboards are sold separately.

~3 years, still a solid bed
Bought this about 3 years ago. It's still basically new, no signs of wear. While putting it together, I was concerned about the connection between the headboard and the rest of the bed not being secure, but there have been no problems. Not once did I regret buying it.

Built the bed. Feels really sturdy. Everything was double boxed with Styrofoam in between. Really well padded for shipping.

Solid Bed Frame and Headboard
This is a tank that wants to be a bed. Solid base legs hold slotted beams that assemble with a scant 8 bolts. Easier than Ikea. The packaging worked. The bed arrived without a scratch. It took 5 packages with the headboard all weighing a decent amount each. I am pretty sure that all of the beds they offer are of this quality.

We are greatly pleased with our purchase. It was exactly as it looked, described. It was easy to assemble and was packed well. The box with the headboard had two different holes that looked to have occurred during shipping but thanks to it being well packed not any damage. We have had poor experiences the last two times with other vendors packing large items poorly and were hopeful it would not be the case this time and it was not. Can't say enough about well it was packed!

Beautiful, and easy to assemble. Quality furniture, solid, and fitting was perfect. Great for my adjustable mattress. Got it without headboard, kept my old headboard that attaches to the wall. Really beautiful.
