TALL Tatami Platform Bed - Honey Oak

Shipment for our bed frame was delayed significantly (the website had a banner warning me of this prior to placing my order). I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want to wait that long, but I’m so glad I did. The bed frame is very sturdy, no squeaks or wiggles. We ordered it with a headboard which replaces one of the beams in the frame perfectly. It’s slightly lower to the ground than I was expecting since I ordered the “tall” frame, but measurements were very clearly provided and that’s 100% my fault for not physically checking the height with a tape measure and changes nothing about how much my spouse and I love our new frame (it’s a “normal” height with our mattress on it- our old frame was just very tall). I love the natural wood and the sturdiness of it. It’s very solid and genuine wood, nothing compressed or fake, and it’s going to last my lifetime. This is easily family heirloom quality furniture. It’s just a classic, simple, sturdy bed frame. And assembling it was almost like playing real-life grown-up Lincoln Logs, so that was fun.

Well worth the wait! Packaging was flawless and prevented damage. Setup was extremely easy despite very grainy instructions. Absolutely no noise or moving and my mattress fits perfectly. The Honey Oak is a beautiful lighter neutral stain that does lean a little yellow, but not warm. 10/10 would buy again.

For transit, it was wrapped up so mindfully. They even made handles to carry the pieces. Assembly was slightly longer than we hoped because the instructions hardware labels were blurry, but it came together beautifully in the end and feels very sturdy. Highly recommend the tatami. My room smells great now.

The bed frame took some time to arrive, but the excellent quality made the wait worthwhile. Communication with the company was smooth and prompt. Highly recommended!

I ordered in early December and the bed and headboard arrived early May. I reached out to customer service a few times to check the status. CS was very responsive and helpful. Everything arrived when they said it would and it was packaged very well. It was easy to assemble. One person is all it takes. The wood is heavy, the joinery is clean. Zero complaints.

All parts for the bedframe arrived very well packaged. They were very easy to put together, incredibly solid, and made no noise once assembled. If you purchase your own, you won't be disappointed. All emails I recieved were refrshingly curtious as well. I am very happy.

We ordered the tall Tatami Platform Bed in honey oak, and I could not love it more than I do! This bed is gorgeous, and so well constructed. This is a piece of furniture that will last. It did take a while to get here, as others have said, but it was worth the wait for sure. My husband and I put it together as soon as it arrived, and it was not difficult at all. The packaging was even great - secure, but not excessive packaging. I would definitely recommend this platform bed. It's worth the wait!

We ordered the Tall Queen in Honey Oak. We've had it for less than two months so I can't yet speak to longevity of the bed or how durable it is long-term. But it appears to be very well built. I've never owned a piece of furniture made of parawood, and am curious to see how it holds up. The color was exactly as described. It took 18 weeks to ship from the time of order, but we emailed several times to check on the order and customer service always responded within 24 hours. It arrived with plenty of padded packing materials and I felt confident the pieces were in good shape. Putting it together was a breeze, and we were excited to finally have our minimalist tatami bed to sleep on!
