TALL Tatami Platform Bed Frame in Honey Oak with 15in high legs - This Japanese style platform bed is constructed with interlocking frames that requires no brackets or screws for easy assembly. The Tall platform bed frame is made of 100% solid hardwood (Parawood-environmentally friendly wood) in satin finish. Includes 18 pairs of wooden slats (2" spacing) to support any standard size mattress.
*Complete platform bed set comes with Tatami mat(s) to create a serenity space for meditation or sitting area, Japanese futon mattress may be added for sleeping that provide excellent back support and comfort (sold separately).

Awesome.
Wanted one of these for a while but with limited vendors was worried about purchasing. This bed came in excellent condition and provides a great nights sleep. Buy it

Fabulous product
This bed frame is very well-made. It really does go together like a Lego set. You need a screwdriver to hold the two barrel nuts but otherwise it only needs the supplied Allen wrench or by hand. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding and the assembled product looks fabulous. We ordered the optional tatami mats which are also excellent. They do have that "new Reed" smell but it didn't bother us. Just smells like being outside. Although it had to come across the country by truck, it was only 2 weeks from ordering to setup. Very well packed and everything arrived in great shape As far as assembly I have done enough Ikea so this was very easy. I didn't need to call customer service nor did I have to figure out tiny differences between nearly identical parts like Ikea.

Better than I was expecting
This is a well manufactured and well designed bedframe. The finish is expertly applied and I received the frame parts with zero dings or scratches. The interlocking design is certainly quicker than most "assembly required" products I've seen. The ordering process was also easy and my initial questions were answered very quickly. I would happily do business with these folks anytime. As a final note, if you are assembling this bed by yourself, do NOT fully tighten the center support to the head and foot rails. Attach them loosely at first to allow play. This way, one person can easily put the entire bed together in about 15 minutes.

Solid
Purchased the Tall Tatami Honey Oak King bed & Headboard. The color is much lighter & warmer than the image. Customer service answered all my questions. We went back & forth a few times, and they were always prompt. Shipping was fast! Ordered on a Wed, had everything the next Thurs. The legs actually arrived on Wed. These guys are packaging masters. Every part was well protected (a sign of experience). Was very hesitant to order something this large, but after reading other reviews decided to give it a shot. The best part about this bed is it's QUALITY! It is solid. But everything just fits SO well. I was amazed how quickly it all fit together. I'm actually considering more pieces from Tatamiroom. If you work hard for your money, you deserve this bed! Super value. You can't even compare it to anything at IK-A (you know who I mean).

We ordered the tall bed and headboard. The shipping was fast and items packed well. The directions were easy to follow as was putting the bed together. I love the extremely smooth finish on the wood! Gteat value for a great bed!
