30"x80" Tatami Mat

Products are very well made. Excellent back support. Very faint grass smell -- not unpleasant and went away in a day. We did have one of them damaged in shipping and Tatamiroom is replacing, so, excellent customer service as well. We have bought 3 of these so far and love them. We layer natural latex over them to make a firm supportive mattress with a little softness added.

The product was delivered in perfect condition. It fit exactly and has enhanced my bed. There have been comments about an odor associated with the mays, but I couldn’t discern any order whatsoever. I am very pleased this product.

My two beautifully constructed tatami mats arrived today, and when I put them side-by-side, they make a surface area of the size of a queen size bed, which is perfect. I do not notice a smell at all. These were very safely packaged, and arrived in tiptop shape. They are just right.

I'm so happy with this product! It was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The smell is wonderful and it came with care instructions that are easy to follow. The tatami feels wonderful to walk/sit/lay on and I can tell that it is authentic.

I recently purchased a Japanese futon and a set of tatami mats for my queen sized bed because I hurt my back and my previous sleep set up was too plush. While researching tatami I kept reading people warning of the smell and that some folks might not like it. Personally, the smell is barely noticeable and when you do catch a whiff it's very pleasant. Maybe some folks are much more nose sensitive than me but it is not distracting or unpleasant at all. Very pleased with the mats and the speed of delivery!

Feels the same as another pair of tatami mats that we were using for bed platform. Seems to be well constructed. Some grass smell which bothered my wife more than me. I recommend it if you like sleeping on firm surfaces.
