Tatami Platform Bed - Dark Walnut

Arrived within reasonable timeframe and in great condition. The build quality is greay and assembling the japanese joinery is so satisfying. So happy with this bed!

I cannot be happier with my purchase. I spent so much time contemplating and asking so many friends whether I should pay more money to get this bed or if I should save my money and get a cheaper one. I am SO glad that I went with what I truly wanted and bought this bed in the end. It is the easiest bed you will ever assemble, and you can tell the quality is top-notch. It arrived a day earlier than expected too, and the height of the platform + the aesthetic really fills my with so much satisfaction. I bought the queen size bed and I do not regret it a single bit!!!

My review echoes everyone else's: Excellent quality (attractive, sturdy), efficient ordering and shipping (w/ helpful email communication), very satisfying experience all around. We ordered the headboard, mattress, and futon cover/shams and are happy with everything. We hope to keep this bed for a very long time, but in the case we need another, we will order from here and encourage our friends and family to do so as well.

We purchased the platform bed with tatami mats to go with our Japanese futon mattress. The wood is beautiful and the pieces fit together smoothly. It's pretty cool how it assembles without screws. There are not many places you can get beds like this in US, and we are very happy with ours. As a side-note: since it is sometimes hard to tell from the pictures, I'll add that the dark walnut is quite dark and looks nearly black in faint light.

We have purchased two tatami platform beds over the past 5 years and we are very satisfied with both of them. Easy to assemble/disassemble, solid wood, very nice interlocking legs make this bed very sturdy. Our 2nd one we purchased for our young daughter as we like how it is low to the ground in case she tries to roll off. Excellent product.

I was looking for a high quality platform bed made of solid wood at a reasonable price and was not having any luck until I came upon Tatami Room. What a great find, I will recommend it to everyone. The queen Tatami platform bed in dark walnut is exactly what I wanted. It's beautiful and I plan for it to be the last bed I buy. The instructions were pretty small in print but I figured it out. The shipping was fast, within a week from California to Boston. Excellent company.
