Essential addition
Well crafted of quality wood. You definitely want to add this on, it makes the bed really come together as a beautiful piece of furniture. It replaces the short rail at the head of the end, so you will have to store that somewhere. But it's nice to have just in case you need or want it one day.

Good product but not really meant for normal width mattress
The headboard is nice but only rises a few inches above a normal width mattress (>11-12”). Be sure to take matters width when considering headboard.

Great Headboard
I purchased the Magari headboard for my Tatami bed and it looks great. Little tricky to install since you need it to fit just at the right angle because the bed is interlocking. I was concerned about the curve of the headboard since I just don’t like curved headboards, but after talking with customer service they explained how it would look, and it looks wonderful. The headboard has a slight curve that give the bed a nice look. The finish of the headboard in honey oak looked fantastic. Great looking addition to my new bed.

This headboard is a sturdy and outstanding addition to an already incredible piece of furniture in the Yamaguchi bed. Really pulls it all together.

Good Choice
I wasn't sure what to expect with the headboard, but I'm so glad I bought it in addition to the frame. It looks really good and it's the *perfect* height. Also I have to say - the honey oak color is very pretty.
